History
Bolivia was named after Simon Bolivar. It is a landlocked country in South America. Bolivia became independent on August 6, 1825. The region that is now known as Bolivia has been occupied for over 2,000 years when the Aymara arrived in the region. The empire continued to grow with no end in sight.
Geography
Central South America, Southwest of Brazil. Humid and tropical to cold and semiarid. Rugged Andes Mountains with highland plateau,hills, lowland plains of the Amazon Basin.
Economy
Bolivia is one of the poorest and least developed countries in Latin America. Bolivians continue to suffer in a climate of economic repression. Following a disastrous economic crisis during the early 1980's , reforms spurred private investment stimulated economic growth, and eat poverty rates in the 1990's.

Festivals in Bolivia are generally Pagan and are expressed by means of rituals and dances, these are motivated by the Faith/Belief that any one of the desires of prosperity can be granted. The variety and favors of Bolivian cuisine are directly related to its varied geography and climate. Most Bolivians are born into Catholicism.
